Flagship Testimonials Feature (Fall 2024 Issue)

Here is what you’ll receive:

  • A one-page Flagship Testimonial Feature listing in the Fall 2024 issue of our digital magazine, which includes up to 300 words for testimonials (supplied by the advertiser), one logo, and two images of the featured product(s). See the sample below.
  • A video overlay of up to 3 minutes in length, to go with the one-page feature listing.

Ad Submission Guidelines:

  •  Your logo: 900 x 900 PPI, or at least 900 in one direction – In making the elements for your placement, a symbol, square, or stacked version of the logo works best for the timeline pin. A horizontal logo works best for the display page. Please submit both versions. A white or transparent background is requested.
  •  URL you want used to send readers to your site: (Send us up to two URLs. If you have a testimonial page on your website, that would be a great one to include.)
  • Up to 300 words of TESTIMONIALS you have received over the years – ones you can use in marketing or recommendations people have sent in.  These should have the writers’ names on them.
  • Two images: We need two photos of your products that you want shown in that full-page display.  900 x 900 PPI, or at least 900 in one direction
  • The YEAR you entered the homeschool market. There is a beautiful timeline included in this feature.
  • One sentence which describes either the mission of your company or summarizes what you do for homeschoolers.
  •  Video overlay: Give us a video (up to 3 minutes long) about anything you want to say to homeschool parents regarding your company, your products, or your place in the homeschool market. Maximum 100MB

  • Messages need to be carefully worded so as not to “advertise” a product or company but instead “inform”,

For best reader experience, reasonable spread out animation is preferred and will reduce risk of digital abandonment.

Advertisement Submission:

  • Ads may be submitted via email to artwork (at) theoldschoolhouse (dot) com. If the image is too large, please place it in Dropbox (or similar service) and email that link to the artwork department.
  • Color Matching: Due to the variations in file formats and printing processes, TOS cannot guarantee perfect color matching of advertisements.
  • Submission of advertising materials for potential publication constitutes a waiver of all claims relating to color matching and other minor errors in printing and formatting quality.
  • Copyrights: All artwork, text, and other components must be the legal property of the submitting advertiser. Copyrighted material or material belonging to a third party may be used only with the written permission of the owner or copyright holder, a copy of which must be furnished to TOS along with the artwork and advertisement. TOS will not attempt to obtain permission for use of protected works and bears no liability for copyright infringement or other illegal conduct by advertisers or contributors.
